Design-Build & Remodeling Across Los Angeles County
We build across LA County — and we don't broker your project to a stranger. We hold equity in the licensed, CSLB-verified firms that self-perform the work, so you reach the firm that already knows your city's permit process, not a call center.
How a service-area model works when you co-own the builder.
Los Angeles County is not one permitting system — it is dozens. Pasadena, Santa Monica, and Long Beach each run their own building departments with their own ordinances, historic and coastal overlays, and plan-check queues. The cities on the county's unincorporated edges defer to LADBS or LA County. Knowing which counter your project goes to, and what that counter asks for, is half the job.
Permit Matching is owner-operated. We are not a lead broker, a referral directory, or a concierge passing you to a third party. We co-own the licensed building firms that do the work, field in-house crews, and earn our return as owners — not as a markup on someone else's invoice. We've operated this way since 2018. When you tell us your city, we connect you with the firm that already knows that jurisdiction's permit process — at a fair market price, with no middleman.
Cities we build in
Each city below has a dedicated page covering its permit authority, local overlays, and the neighborhoods we work in. Start with yours.
Pasadena
Its own permitting jurisdiction, with deep historic-district and landmark review on pre-1940 Craftsman streets.
Santa Monica
Coastal-zone overlays, strict R1 standards, and a seismic retrofit ordinance on tight, high-value lots.
Long Beach
Development Services permitting across diverse housing stock, with shoreline coastal review and several historic districts.
Glendale
City-run plan check with hillside ordinances and foothill conditions north of the basin.
Burbank
Its own Community Development permitting, with airport-adjacent zoning and established residential blocks.
Sherman Oaks
City of Los Angeles / LADBS jurisdiction, with Ventura-corridor hillside lots and steep-grade builds.
