Why We Hold This Line
We design, permit, and build with our own crews. That means there’s nobody to point at when something goes sideways — so we’ve built the company around getting it right the first time.
- 01
Our name is on every job
There’s no firm to hand you off to and no brand to hide behind. Every project we build reflects directly on us, so we hold the work to a standard we’d want in our own home.
- 02
One team, fully accountable
We design it, permit it, and build it — so the same people are responsible from the first drawing to the final inspection. No gaps, no “that’s not our part.”
- 03
We’re not going anywhere
We build for the long term and a lot of our work comes from repeat clients and referrals. We can’t afford a cut corner, and we don’t want one.
The Bar We Build To
Six standards every project we build is held to — from the finish work you see to the framing you don’t.
Craftsmanship & Finish
The finish work is what you live with every day. We hold every project to a standard of clean lines, square corners, and details that hold up over time.
Tight tolerances, level and plumb throughout, and finish carpentry that reads right up close — not just from across the room.
Crew Standards
Our crews are in-house, with consistent leads who know our standards. The same people who start your project are the ones who finish it.
Vetted tradespeople, steady crew leadership, and clear lines of communication so you always know who is on your site and why.
Materials
We build with quality materials and tell you exactly what is going into your project — no cut corners behind the wall, no mystery substitutions.
Transparent material selections, durable products specified to the job, and no quietly swapping to something cheaper to protect a margin.
Jobsite Conduct
Your home is still your home while we build in it. We keep the site clean, treat your property with respect, and communicate every day.
Tidy work areas, protected finishes, respectful crews, and a daily sense of where the project stands.
Safety & Code
Everything is built licensed, permitted, and inspected. We pull the permit under our own CSLB license and build to code, not around it.
Active California GC license, work performed under permit, and inspections passed at every required stage.
Standing Behind the Work
A project isn’t done when the crew leaves — it’s done when it’s right. We complete the punch list and stand behind the work.
A shared punch list, a workmanship warranty, and an owner who answers the phone if something needs to be made right.
What We Won’t Do
The shortcuts other builders take are exactly the ones we’ve built the company to avoid. Here’s what you won’t get from us:
We won’t hand your job to random subs
→ Our own in-house crews build it
We won’t cut corners on what’s behind the wall
→ Framing, systems, and waterproofing built to code, not around it
We won’t disappear after the deposit
→ One accountable team from first drawing to final walkthrough
We won’t hide pricing in vague allowances
→ One detailed, line-item estimate — scope and number spelled out
Standards, Straight
- 01
Are you licensed?
Yes — Permit Matching is a licensed, bonded & insured California general contractor. CSLB license number available upon request.
- 02
Do you use your own crews?
Yes. We self-perform with our own in-house crews — the people you talk to are the people who build your project.
- 03
Do you subcontract anything?
Specialty trades — like certain electrical, plumbing, or HVAC work — are performed by licensed trade crews working under our supervision. We remain your general contractor and stay accountable for the whole project.
- 04
What if something’s wrong after the build?
We make it right. You reach the contractor directly — one call, no finger-pointing — and we stand behind the work with a warranty.
