1. Service Description

Permit Matching provides a contractor matching service to homeowners in Los Angeles County. Our service includes:

  • Identifying homeowners with active building permits through publicly available records
  • Conducting consultation calls to understand project requirements
  • Matching homeowners with vetted contractors from our network based on project fit
  • Facilitating introductions between homeowners and contractors

What We Do Not Provide:

  • We are not contractors and do not perform construction work ourselves
  • We do not guarantee project outcomes, timelines, or contractor performance
  • We do not manage or supervise construction projects
  • We are not responsible for contractor-homeowner agreements or disputes

2. No Warranties or Guarantees

While we carefully vet contractors in our network, Permit Matching makes no warranties or guarantees regarding:

  • The quality, timeliness, or cost of work performed by contractors
  • The suitability of any particular contractor for your specific project
  • Project completion dates or adherence to schedules
  • Pricing accuracy or project budget compliance
  • Compliance with building codes or permit requirements

Contractors in our network are independent businesses. Any agreements, contracts, or disputes are solely between you and the contractor.

3. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Permit Matching shall not be liable for:

  • Any damages arising from work performed or not performed by contractors
  • Delays, defects, errors, or omissions in construction projects
  • Financial losses, cost overruns, or budget issues related to your project
  • Disputes between homeowners and contractors
  • Contractor negligence, breach of contract, or failure to perform
  • Property damage, personal injury, or any consequential damages arising from construction work

You acknowledge that contractors are independent third parties and that you contract directly with them. Permit Matching's role is limited to introducing you to contractors.

4. Free Service for Homeowners

Permit Matching's service is completely free for homeowners. You will never be charged for:

  • Our matching service
  • Consultation calls
  • Contractor introductions
  • Project guidance or support

We earn a referral fee from contractors when you decide to move forward with a project. This fee does not affect your project cost or the contractor's pricing.
